About
Tamarind Rossetti is an artist and writer from Ojai, who works in Los Angeles and Paris on projects that explore processes of time. Through means of place, memory, home and connection through language, she uses painting, writing, photo, video, and conversation in her work. She holds an undergraduate degree in Art Practice and English Literature from the University of California, Berkeley, summa cum laude, and an MFA in Public Practice from Otis College of Art and Design. Her work has been shown at FRAC Poitou-Charentes, site d’Angoulême, France; ForYourArt, Los Angeles, CA; the Beatrice Wood Center for the Arts, Ojai, CA; MorYork Gallery, Highland Park, CA; PT Gallery, Japan and others. Her work is in the public collection FRAC Poitou-Charentes.
